Overview
  • Now that we understand how to prepare the system, what needs to be done to keep the cell in production?  In this episode, we revisit some of the topics from episode one and discuss the brain of the system, the Cell Controller.  This powerful tool allows production to continue running smoothly and eliminates operator intervention when production is in full swing.  

    This episode shows how to add new jobs to the cell, and demonstrate adding them to different types of pallets.  We focus on the two most common types, one work and changeable fixture.  Once you have parts running through the cell, we show the different types of reports that are used to track your productivity. And finally, we' explain how to secure your cell to ensure your sensitive data isn't lost or stolen.

It works dynamically, automatically detecting broken and worn tools and bringing them to the unloading station. This system uses a touchscreen interface to monitor the specifications and life of every tool in operation, making it easy for the operator to manage the inventory of tools in the machine.
