Carlson Tool & Manufacturing, located in Cedarburg, Wisconsin, a production-focused company, wanted to add more capabilities to their tool …
West Michigan distributor, KM Industrial Machinery held an open house early April and kicked the event off by showcasing Toyoda's Stealth 965 12K RPM vertical machining center. The demonstration now viewable on KM's YouTube channel, shows the box guideway machine cutting P20 HRC 25 material utilizing tooling provided by Fraisa, Tendo E Compact toolholders, KSC High Torque Vice workholding peices - both by Schunk. Job shop applications are gauranteed to benefit from its powerful drive motors on the X, Y and Z axes which produced a spindle load topping out at 60%. High revolution accuracy, thermal stability and maximum dampening characteristics are amongst the top reasons for current customer's confidence of the Stealth lineup.
